For various reasons the Natural Products Trade Show, Olympia has become the preeminent show for health food stores in the UK to find out about new products and breaking research – and this show stood up to and exceeded its potential! With a large attendance from around the UK & Ireland, the Natural Products Show gave retailers another opportunity to learn about ProbioStart, our latest addition to the range as well as to find out more about the leading probiotic range available – one which meets customers requirements – DTECTA Probiotics! For trade, this show is a must next year – and we look forward to seeing you there!

In the final edition of Scottish Health News (before it re-launches as Healthy You!), it explores the relationship between probiotics and eczema. The strength of ProbioStart to treat eczema in children is that it gets to the source of the problem – it doesn’t just mask or alleviate the symptoms like other eczema products on the market.

In an article entitled “10 of the Best Eczema Relievers”, the Daily Mail highlighted how recent research is showing the benefits that probiotics can have on eczema. They recommend ProbioStart is taken by pregnant women & breastfeeding mothers to reduce the risk of child eczema and can be taken by children 6 months+ to reduce eczema.

We launched ProbioStart Probiotic & Prebiotic to health food stores & CAM Practitioners on Mother’s Day itself!
What perfect timing to raise the awareness of this probiotic that can be taken by pregnant women, nursing mothers, infants & children to benefit the child’s normal digestion, maintain strong immunity and balanced energy levels! It was another great opportunity to meet the retailers and practitioners that drive awareness of health issues to the public and encourage more and more people to use natural products – thanks for coming to our stand.

Breaking news – this show will be open to the public to attend from next year onwards! See you there! For more information on the show, please visit www.naturaltradeshow.com |

Published on Boxing Day, the Daily Express knows that everyone indulged in too much turkey & Christmas pud over the festive period – appropriately recommending AntiBloat in an article called ‘How to Beat the Boxing Day Bloat’. |
| |
|
Steve Wright & Janey Lee Grace have mentioned AntiBloat a couple of times on air over the past few weeks – with Steve pronouncing that it worked for him! Thanks Steve (and glad we could be of assistance!).
Thanks also to Janey Lee Grace for raising awareness about probiotics and their importance to our digestion, immunity & overall well-being. For more information on the Steve Wright in the Afternoon on BBC 2, click here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/wright/ |

Under the headline ‘Traveller’s Tummy Hits Closer to Home’, Travel & Leisure magazine highlighted how frequent upset tummies can occur even on relatively short-distance trips, even those within the UK. As we have become used to high hygiene standards, it is suggested we are more susceptible to moderate challenges e.g. changes in water or the environment of a closed cabin aircraft.
Travel & Leisure recommend Travla for use before and after travel abroad and highlight DiarSafe as a ‘first aid’ necessity if tummy upsets do occur. |

Finally we’ve reached the due date for the new arrival to the DTECTA Probiotics family – a probiotic for infants & children which can also be taken during pregnancy by mothers-to-be & for new mums during nursing. ProbioStart Probiotic & Prebiotic comes in two pack sizes – 10 sachet & 30 sachet packs – and is coming to a store near you!
Research shows the intestinal microflora of infants & children is very different from the microflora found in adults – and ProbioStart has the right types and right amounts of friendly bacteria to meet your child’s health needs in an easy-to-mix vanilla-flavoured sachet. |

DTECTA Probiotics returned to the NEC as sponsors of the child care facilities. Many pharmacy owners came with their families, not least to meet cricket’s Shoaib Akhtar, renowned Pakistani fast bowler and found the crèche facilities to be particularly useful.

The crèche sponsorship tied in with the launch of our new probiotic for pregnant women, nursing mothers, infants & children - ProbioStart Probiotic & Prebiotic. The new arrival to the DTECTA Probiotics family made quite a splash! For more information on the Pharmacy Show, please visit www.thepharmacyshow.co.uk.

Michaelangelo’s David & Venus de Milo joined us at the Harrogate Trade Show this year – and what do they have in common with DTECTA Probiotics you may ask? Perfection (of course)! Enticed by the life-size cut-outs, and the opportunity to find out more about our unique range of probiotics, many health food store owners and CAM practitioners also visited the stand. We were also graced by Janey Lee Grace, the author of best-selling book Imperfectly Natural Woman – getting life right the natural way. Janey also frequently appears alongside Steve Wright on Radio 2 and Channel 5. Check out the photo of Janey below!
